Comments:

KINTORE is a heavily and well built unique sea-going as well as ideal coastal cruising vessel – based on the handsome Bill Garden West Coast “DYNAMO” design – which was published in WoodenBoat #111 (Mar/Apr ’93) written by Maynard Bray; see also “From DYNAMO to KINTORE” in WoodenBoat #140 (Jan/Feb ’98) written by her original owner – Jim Mitchell. Another very informative article appears in the Winter 1996 issue of PASSAGEMAKER Magazine. KINTORE has very comfortable and well laid-out accommodations, and has proven herself to be a most able heavy displacement vessel with an especially easy motion in a sea-way. She is equipped with both Steadying Sails as well as Stabilizer Poles with Kolstrand Paravanes, each of which cut rolling to almost nil in a beam sea. KINTORE has cruised south to the Bahamas, has circumnavigated New England via the Hudson River, the Canals and Great Lakes, and the St. Lawrence Sea Way, as well as coastal cruising along the Maine Coast. Much up grading was completed on KINTORE by her very experienced/professional boat yard operator/owner from approximately 2001 to 2005 (he and his wife are now cruising Europe aboard their 80’ Canal Vessel). Under current Ownership considerable new Gear and Equipment has been added, and, ALL Exterior surfaces are being refinished at this time.

KINTORE is being offered for sale only because of a change in her present Owner’s plans – we can recommend her highly for the serious coastal or off-shore cruising person desiring a salty & able heavy displacement traditional style vessel with much character. She is being offered with all Exterior Refinishing Completed, and will be placed in Full Commission in the Spring of 2008.
